Val Gardena’s sports El Dorado

Vacation in our apartments in Selva means a timeout surrounded by impressive peaks: the Puez group mountains, the Cir peaks and part of the legendary Sassolungo mountain range, as well as the Sella massif.

The main lift facilities – cable cars and chairlifts – such as the Ciampinoi, Dantercepies and Costabella lifts are located within the village and offer direct access to the world-famous Sellaronda ski tour and the world’s largest ski circuit Dolomiti Superski. This makes Selva di Val Gardena a perfect starting point for your outdoor pursuits, whether it’s skiing or hiking.

Cross-country skiers won’t be disappointed either: the Puez-Odle nature park has plenty in store for them. A tennis hall, an ice rink and a recently inaugurated climbing hall in the Nives square round off the offer of sports activities.

There is also a wide choice of classy holiday apartments, shops and gourmet restaurants in Selva, as well as a lively nightlife with several après-ski venues.

Selva also has its share of cultural sights: the Wolkenstein Castle ruins, Fischburg Castle in the vicinity of the Saslong World Cup piste and the Tublá da Nives culture centre – an impressive museum in the village centre – are particularly recommended.
